GVEC Air Conditioning & Heating: Founded on Community
GVEC Air Conditioning & Heating has served the AC/heating needs of South Central Texas since 1968, but our roots here run deeper. As part of the Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative family, our heritage goes all the way back to 1938.

That year, a group of local-area farmers from around the Guadalupe Valley joined together, propelled by a collective need for electricity in the community. Using a government grant, those Guadalupe Valley farmers formed the Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative, a not-for-profit electricity provider.
GVEC Air Conditioning & Heating: An Apple Not Far from the Tree
To this day, GVEC’s core focus remains the delivery of electricity to our members; however, we’ve also expanded our community of services to include Internet, Solar, Electrician, and yes, air conditioning and heating (HVAC) services.
Just like our parent cooperative, GVEC Air Conditioning & Heating is committed to exceeding customer expectations and to delivering high quality, dependable products and services in a professional, ethical and affordable way. With over eight decades of serving the Guadalupe Valley, the Cooperative has given us a rich legacy to live up to, but we’re proud of our own rich, 50-year history. In our five decades, we’ve built a reputation for quality and dependability. As the saying goes, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
And our team of knowledgeable, skilled HVAC technicians and professionals is committed to GVEC Air Conditioning & Heating‘s customer-first culture and way of business: We’re not satisfied until you are and we won’t stop until you give final approval—guaranteed.
We back those systems with industry-leading warranties, flexible financing options and dependable, high-quality service. Whatever the need or problem, whatever the time of day, we’re here to help.
